Apple launches its most-expensive iPhone ever, iPhone X
Apple has launched its new iphone edition where Apple CEO Tim Announced iphone called iphone X (10th) on the company tenth-anniversary. It is the most expensive iphone so far. It carries a starting price tag around Rs. 89,000 and calculated in dollars ($999) as Earlier Rumours were speculations.
First iPhone to sport OLED display
Apple iphone X is the only one which has 5.8 inch OLED edge-to-edge Super Retina HDR displays display. Where HDR display also supports Dolby Vision and HDR10. It features Apple’s highest resolution phone display- 2436 x 1125 pixels at 458 pixels per inch density (PPI). While in some manner both iphone 8 and iphone 8 Plus is similar in design as iphone 7. However, iphone 8 and iphone 8 Plus has different glass back panel than iphone 7 because both devices support wireless charging.
Features all glass-and-stainless steel body
Apple iPhone X is designed with an all-glass front and back. Apple claims that it is the most durable glass ever in a smartphone, which is a highly polished, surgical-grade stainless steel band seamlessly wraps around and reinforces iPhone X. Alongside A seven-layer color, the process allows for precise color hues and opacity on the glass finish, and a reflective optical layer which helps to enhances the rich colors and also making the design as elegant as it is durable while maintaining water and dust resistance.”
Drops Home Button
There is no place for a physical Home button on iphone X because of its newly introduced first ever iphone edge-to-edge display. A lot easier and smart option you have, you just need to tap on the smartphone to ‘wake it up’ with a new gesture language. Just only swiping up will launch the multitasking screen. To switch to another app, you just need to pause mid-swipe. Holding the larger side button will launch Siri.
There is no home button that means no more need for the fingerprint sensor in iphone. The Touch ID has been replaced by FaceID and FaceID is said to be powered by ‘neural engine’ powered by the company’s A11 Bionic processor. Now User can unlock iphone X with a FaceID security feature, it uses facial recognition to unlock the device. Users can set up FaceID by letting their iPhone X make a detailed digital “map” of their face.
FaceID is highly secure according to the demand of higher smartphones security in the modern era of technology.The Apple is claiming that FaceID is much easier, reliable and safer. According to the Apple, there’s a one in a million chance of someone being able to ‘hack’ your phone. Which is much higher than fingerprint security where one in a 50,000 chance of someone being able to hack your smartphone.
Now Apple has also entered into the wireless charging technology, comes with the iphone X, iphone 8 and iphone 8 Plus. For the wireless charging, the new Qi naming standard is using the new iPhone’s. Alongside the most interesting thing is that Apple also launched a unique wireless charging mat option called AirPower that can simultaneously charge an iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods.
iPhone X comes in two storage variants, 64GB and 256GB.
Starting price of 64 GB variant Apple iPhone X at Rs 89,000 INR ($999) while 256GB variant is priced at Rs 1,02,000. Convert into dollars-( $1,580).
Feature vertical dual camera set-up
iPhone X has vertical capsule shape dual camera placement at the back. Both the rear cameras are 12MP resolution sensors and have optical image stabilization (OIS) support. While one sensor has an aperture of f/1.8, the other has f/2.4.
It allows recording 4K video, alongside offering a new quad LED True Tone Flash with Slow Sync. And there’s a 7MP True Depth camera for selfie snapper. And also The front camera is performing another job where Apple is said to have developed it especially for FaceID.
Powered by new A11 processor
Apple iPhone X is powered by the Apple’s new A11 bionic chipset. It has a six-core CPU design. And packed with the powerful battery where Apple claims that iphone X has two hours of higher battery life than iphone 7.

Currently, the Apple iPhone X will be available in only two color variants Space Gray and Silver.
Pre-orders for iPhone X will start from October 27 in 55 countries across the world, including India and will be available on retail shelves on November 3. This is the first time ever that Apple is launching its new iPhones in India in the first wave. While iphone 8 and 8 Plus will be available in the end days of the current month September.
